XM micro account

I tried to download tickstory to a xm micro account but never works. The backtest always get broken! In another MT4 account everything works great

Hi Bernardolt,

It sounds like perhaps you haven't mapped your symbol from the Tickstory name (for example "EURUSD") to the XM symbol name (eg. "EURUSDm").

If you haven't already, please download the most recent v1.9.5.4 which should make easy work of this mapping. When exporting to MT4, click the "MT4 Settings" tab and then select your XM broker's symbol from the "Map-to" drop-down. See the attached image.

I have done just like you told me too but does not work. Don't know why but thanks anyway

Hi Bernardotlt,

I'm sure we can assist you to resolve this. It would help to see what the issue is, so could you kindly send us the screenshots of the following:

1) The Tickstory "Export to MT4" settings you are using (including the "MT4 Settings" tab)
2) The MT4 Strategy Tester window (which shows the symbol name)
3) Your "MT4 Data Folder" FXT contents (go to File->Open data folder in Metatrader and then browse to tester/history and take a screenshot).
4) The result you are getting in the Strategy Tester.
5) The Strategy Tester "Journal" tab after you have completed a back-test.
