Hi Lorraine,
From a Tickstory perspective, please re-check the following:
1) That Metatrader 4 History Center has all the data for the dates you exported and;
2) If you run the MACD Sample EA (and change no other Strategy Tester settings), does it still only trade on the 2nd Oct?
If there are no issues with the above two points, it's likely that your EA's logic is determining to open a trade only on this day for some reason. If this is not expected, maybe check the time-frame it should be operating under (15-minute? 1 hour?) and maybe that will encourage it to trade more often. Otherwise, it could be some other setting within the EA. You might also want to clear the Journal log in the Strategy Tester, test and then view the earliest logs to see why it may not be opening a trade earlier (sometimes EAs might report that the spread is not favorable, for example).
Thanks.
Dates Missing in back test
Re: Dates Missing in back test
When I go to Data Folder>history>FXCM USD Demo01 all the history is there for the pair.
I used the macD sample EA and ran it for a one month period. It is showing results, but modeling quality says N/A. Why is that?

Re: Dates Missing in back test
Hi Lorraine,
The 'N/A' modelling quality is likely due to you not having pressed the 'Launch' button in Tickstory. If you are continuing to have issues with this, please check out our FAQ for a more comprehensive guide of how to resolve it:
https://tickstory.com/help/tickstorylit ... ng_quality
If you are getting results with "MACD Sample" and a 99% modelling quality, that's indicative that all the data is there and you are doing everything correctly. After that, it will be necessary to figure out why your EA is not trading the way you expect. We've written a general trouble-shooting guide in our FAQ here:

Thanks.
