Hello,

Lets say I export some history data with a particular set of broker settings, and then I wish to export the history data of the SAME period but with DIFFERENT broker settings. Will these 2 sets of data be considered to be the same and automatically overwritten? My concern is that the strategy tester might select the data which has the wrong broker settings.

When you export data, you are able to preview and edit the exact broker settings you wish to be written in the "MT4 Settings" tab. This will overwrite all the existing sets of data (depending on which timeframes you have selected for export). You can view the MT4 Settings of each FXT fie/timeframe in the "MT4 Data/FXT Editor" if you wish to double-check what settings were used.
