Choosing best timezone for broker (FXOpen)

Hello,
I am using FXOpen, which uses GMT +2 and +3 with daylight savings.
When exporting, should I choose +2 or +3?
Daylight savings should be YES right?
Among the many locations for each timezone (athens, jerusalem etc), which one should I choose?
Thank you.

Hi Huangwh88,
You are most likely wanting the "UTC +2" with European/London DST" which is towards the top of the timezone list. Once you select this option, daylight savings will automatically be applied to the dates accordingly during the export process.
Regards.

Thank you.
Looks like I exported with the wrong timezone previously. If I re-export and check 'overwrite existing files', both the HST and FXT will be overwritten with the new timezone right?

Hi - that's correct. Simply re-export the same range again with the new time-zone and everything will be refreshed.
Kind regards.

Thanks Tickstory.
It seems that Fxopen uses GMT +2/+3 but the shift dates follow the new york dates. All the GMT +2 options in tickstory (athens, jerusalem etc) have shift dates that are different from NY by about 2 weeks.
Is there a way to get the same shift date as NY for this timezone?

Hi Huangwh88,
Perhaps you are needing the "New York Trading Hours" time-zone also towards the top of the time-zone list?
Regards.

Thanks Tickstory!
I did not realize there are more options above 'none'.
