I've downloaded the payed version and it is in German. I wonder how to change it to English?

The application automatically selects based on the current O/S language you are using. The only way to override it currently is to rename or delete the corresponding language folder in the Tickstory installation directory (eg. rename "de" to "de.bak").
This will default the language to English.
