Not to concerned with the .fxt files created as I am using the historical data to output into another program which I can set the spread etc.

So I want to just gather the historical chart data with no spread as I have a script for my third party software in which I can sett the spread. So in my case how can I just download raw OHLC .hst files? Do I simply need to run the Tickstory expert to gather the swap prices etc and then change the speed to zero? Or is the spread settting in Tickstory only applicable to .FXT files?

Hi Mike,

The spread information is contained within the FXT files, however if you are just using the .HST (and don't care about tick data), then the information/FXT will automatically be created for you. It will use the spread denoted in the Strategy Tester 'Spread' box.
