Tickstory

Hi guys,

Been getting problem trying to download DUKASCOPY data for anything longer than 1 month old.
Been getting "Error occurred file c:\xxxxxxx\xxxx\xx\xx . Attempting to redownload."
I can only download 1 month old of DUKASCOPY data. What's going on?

Thanks for contacting us. Usually this error denotes some issue with your internet connection. If you have patchy/slow internet connectivity, you could see this error. To help trouble-shoot further, could you please go to the File->Settings->Dukasopy menu and press the 'Test' button. Does it succeed or give an error?

A screenshot of the errors might also help. In the case Tickstory is having difficulties downloading data, it will attempt to retry. If you see the dates moving forward, it does mean it is succeeding at some point. If this is the case, it would be worthwhile trying an alternate internet access point if you have one available. Alternatively, ensure your PC/connection is not trying to do many other things at the same time to see if that alleviates the problem.

Ok fixed that problem. It was due to the ip for connecting to download dukascopy was banned.


Now another question. I have two laptop. Can I install another copy of tickstory on my second laptop on standard license?
Single user, 2 Installations, what's that mean exactly?

Good to hear the issue has been resolved.

Re: licenses, you can install and use the software on 2 machines that you own. So yes, you can install the software on your second laptop and use it.
