I'm trying to put my installation directory but

the system answer with this error:
"Questa non sembra essere una directory di installazione valida.Si prega di accertarsi di aver selezionato la cartella metatrader radice ( es. C:|\\Programmi \\Metatrader) e si è eseguito MT4 almeno una volta prima di selezionare la cartella di installazione"
in my case "cartella metatrader radice" is C:\windows\programm(x86)\forextime MT4 and I'm sure of this.
I'm also sure I have running platform, EA and tester.

Have you any sugestion? Some of you have the same problem? and, if yes how to resolv this?

Hi,
I have see the link you give me and:
I make step 1 and it is ok
I make step 2 (run mt4, run ea, run editor, run my ea, run tester at least once on platform mt4)
I'm not in portable mode
I continue have iusse so I put here some screen shots:

I can't see the file .sel but this is my problem

I have solved!
the problem was: it needs an account logged in !

Good to hear it's solved. Correct - as mentioned in the instructions, you need to connect to your broker/log in to ensure all important files are downloaded. Once this is done, Tickstory will have the files it needs to recognize it as a valid MT4 path.
