NEW UPDATE

I start the mt4 from the non portable terminal and now Tickstory read the platform but take as default the 2 folders on C: (screen n.1)

I think i need to change manually the 2 folders (screen n.2)

Correct??

Hi MrBig,

It should not be necessary to manually change the folders in the "MT4 Export" window if you have correctly configured Tickstory. Please ensure that in Tickstory's File->Settings->MT4 Settings that your "Data Folder" is selected correctly. It is this setting that will be defaulted every time you export to MT4.

Thanks.

Please, give a check to the last 2 screenshot.

If i set the mt4 on D: (external drive) as default tickstory detect the 2 history folders on C: (laptop hard disk)

For this reason i think i need to change manually the 2 history folders as the folders on D: created with "portable mt4".

Am I right?

Thanks

Hi MrBig,

As before, you should set up your configuration correctly. If you are intending to use a portable configuration, make sure you set this up as specified in our manual. There should be no need to alter the folder manually and this feature is intended for advanced use only.

Thanks.

Hi, now i setted tickstory in the rigjht way and when i start a download all the settings are correct.
The problem now is that the download is very very slow and around 16% it stop...
If i test the connection to dukascopy it's ok.
I try do uninstall and reinstall tickstory but seems that when i reinstall it, i find the old settings and seems that the uninstallation wasn't gone rigjt.
Can you suggest me something to solve it?
Thankks

Hi MrBig,

It's likely that the pause at 16% download is caused by Dukascopy servers which throttle requests during busy periods. This means you will need to wait until the server is available again. If you want a better & faster experience, please consider subscribing as this will give you access to our own dedicated data servers.

Thanks.
